There were three of us in the Pathology room. The introduction to the story was brilliant. The room was designed to fit the storyline and could certainly give you goosebumps. The puzzles were by no means easy, but were best solved together as a team. The help from off-stage, which was necessary towards the end, was well-timed and didn't spoil the fun at all. On Sunday, April 26, 2026, we were in the „Pathology“ escape room with four people.

Unfortunately, the doorbell apparently didn’t work on site, so we had to call first to be admitted at all. This resulted in a waiting time of about 20 minutes, which slightly unnecessarily delayed the start.

After that, however, things quickly moved into the „pathology“ area. The puzzles are challenging, well-thought-out, and, thanks to the built-in false clues, they are also exciting to solve. It’s these false leads that make the room interesting and ensure that you really have to think carefully.

There were sometimes minor technical problems, as some solutions didn’t work immediately or were a bit glitchy despite proper implementation, such as with the labyrinth. That was a bit disappointing, but it didn’t completely take away the fun of the game.
The young woman who took care of us was very nice and always kept an eye on us.

It was definitely exciting and also suitable for beginners. We were able to leave the room successfully after 59 minutes.

Overall, a successful escape room with a few minor flaws; therefore, we give it 4 stars.

We’ve now been to Verschlusssache in Lüdenscheid several times. The venue has a cosy atmosphere with a large seating area, lighting and so on. The young staff members who have looked after us so far have been very friendly and helpful, and have made us feel very much at home there. An escape room that lives up to its name –> even the bad reviews are so cleverly hidden here that you’ll never find them again. This way, everyone can enter with a fresh mind and truly experience the disappointment all over again. A truly round concept!

There were three of us in the Pathology Room. We certainly wouldn’t have made it out without a few hints from outside. 😅 It was our first time in an escape room and we had a great time. We celebrated my 9-year-old daughter's birthday party there. The children had an incredible amount of fun and were completely caught up in the excitement of the puzzles. We had booked a giant pizza and drinks to go with it. The pizza filled up all the children and plenty of drinks were provided too; more would have been available if needed!!! Both members of staff who were there on the day were always on hand for us and completely warm-hearted!!! My daughter and her girls loved it!!!
