We played „Nerd in Nöten“ and had a lot of fun. What really stood out positively was that the room is really designed for several people: the puzzles are sometimes set up asynchronously, so not one or two people solve them while the rest just watch. This ensures a high level of participation and makes the escape room ideal for groups. Unfortunately, we were only two, so it took a little longer.

The puzzles were numerous and varied, featuring some new mechanics that we haven’t seen anywhere else yet. The attention to detail is also evident – especially in the nerdy references and small extras, which makes the game a lot of fun. Another plus point: The game staff was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

There were still some minor limitations: Compared to other escape rooms, the level of decoration is somewhat reduced, and the lighting was not optimal in some places, making individual elements harder to spot. However, this only slightly detracts from the overall impression.

We had a lot of fun and we’ll be playing the second part soon too.

It was lovely! A very friendly member of staff welcomed us and explained everything well. Overall, it was super clean, everything worked except for a minor issue, but that was sorted really quickly so we had the full experience. We'll definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed it! We played the Nerd Room; it was a bit challenging, but we were brilliantly guided through the puzzles. This room has great features, so absolutely recommended :-) Thank you very much, we will be back!

We were at the Verschlusssache Escape Room in Essen for the first time. We played the "Nerd in Need" room. It was mega fun and some of the puzzles were really tricky, too. Everything is lovingly self-decorated by our game master Verena - compliments! We'd love to come back and play the second part! Many thanks!

We were there today as a couple and can only recommend it to anyone who is interested in challenging puzzles.
Verena, our game director, welcomed us warmly and took excellent care of us.
Thanks for a great day.

A truly wonderful experience! We went here with friends and solved the puzzle „The Testament of Dr. Mabuse“ together – and had a lot of fun doing it.
The room is incredibly creatively designed, atmospheric, and built with great attention to detail. The puzzles were exciting, varied, and offered just the right mix of brain-teasing, teamwork, and excitement. You can immediately see how much effort and creativity went into it.
Especially beautiful: You really immerse yourself in the story and completely forget about time. A perfect evening with friends!
We’re already looking forward to trying out the next rooms. A clear recommendation for anyone who’s looking for a special experience!

We had a lot of fun with the puzzles and the design of the rooms.
Our room attendant was great; she didn’t give us too many tips and always guided us back on the right path at the right moment.
We will definitely come back and will also try out the other rooms.
