There were three of us in the Pathology room. The introduction to the story was brilliant. The room was designed to fit the storyline and could certainly give you goosebumps. The puzzles were by no means easy, but were best solved together as a team. The help from off-stage, which was necessary towards the end, was well-timed and didn't spoil the fun at all. On Sunday, 26 April 2026, four of us visited the „Pathology“ escape room. Unfortunately, the doorbell on site apparently didn't work, so we first had to call in order to be let in at all. This resulted in a waiting time of about 20 minutes, which delayed the start a bit unnecessarily. After that, however, we went straight into the „Pathology“ room. The puzzles are challenging, well thought out and made exciting by the built-in false clues. It is precisely these red herrings that make the room interesting and ensure that you really have to think. There were some minor technical issues, as some solutions did not work immediately despite being applied correctly, or something stuck, such as with the labyrinth. That was a bit of a shame, but it didn't completely ruin the fun of the game overall. The young woman who looked after us was very nice and kept an eye on us at all times. It was definitely exciting and also well suited for beginners. We were able to successfully escape the room after 59 minutes. We’ve now been to Verschlusssache in Lüdenscheid several times. The venue has a cosy atmosphere with a large seating area, lighting and so on. The young staff members who have looked after us so far have been very friendly and helpful, and have made us feel very much at home there. There were three of us in the Pathology Room. We certainly wouldn’t have made it out without a few hints from outside. 😅 It was our first time in an escape room and we had a great time. We celebrated my 9-year-old daughter's birthday party there. The children had an incredible amount of fun and were completely caught up in the excitement of the puzzles. We had booked a giant pizza and drinks to go with it. The pizza filled up all the children and plenty of drinks were provided too; more would have been available if needed!!! Great experience for families with teens! We had a really fun time in the escape room – exciting, challenging and super well-thought-out! Perfect for families with teenagers.
