It really was the best birthday present for me. A big thank you also to the young man (unfortunately I don't know his name) who looked after us, he was super nice and made the experience even better. The Eternal Light – The Theatre Escape Room in Herne The Kleines Theater Herne is transforming into an escape room. The theatre spotlight is something like the “Eternal Flame“ for the art of acting. It must never go out, whether business is booming or not a single guest appears. According to an old legend, anyone who switches off this light is banished as a ghost to the premises of that particular theatre.

He will henceforth be eternally trapped in the darkness of the theatre. But there is a solution, and it is up to you to find it. Only then will you be redeemed. This is exactly what janitor Eddy Klemme has experienced. You have 60 minutes to save him in time before the theatre's light is extinguished forever. Experience the entire theatre in Herne as an escape room. Puzzle your way from the foyer, through the artists' dressing room and the props department, to backstage. The performance of your life awaits you!

Note: As the location is not permanently available due to normal theatre operations, there are only a few dates and also days on which a visit to the escape room is not possible.
