We played "The Library of 1,000 Books" yesterday. It was great fun once again! From the story, to the atmosphere and the puzzles, right through to the game master – everything was spot on once again! Having tackled loads of brilliant escape rooms with various providers over the last few years, the ones from Verschlusssache are definitely among my favourites! We played the Tomb of Horus. The gamemaster gave us a great introduction to the story. The room is lovingly designed with a huge amount of detail. There were five of us who experienced the Escape Room "The Tomb of Horus" today. It was really a wonderful experience. The story was properly thrilling and the rooms beautifully designed. Together we solved a wide variety of puzzles. We did manage to escape, but what exactly happened we prefer to keep to ourselves. Many thanks to the lovely game master. We came with friends from America and therefore needed an "English" version. Already in advance on the phone, staff made a great effort to find a solution for this. On site, too, our "operator" looked after us very nicely. As a team, we had a huge amount of fun and, with a little help, managed to solve the room 1 minute before the end. The final puzzle was a bit tricky because the American 7 is written like a German 1, which meant we were wrong several times, but that was completely fine and was more down to the American/German team than the puzzle. In the end, it was even a kind of shared inside joke. Thank you very much for the lovely afternoon and the commitment to pivot to English so quickly... would gladly do it again!
