What is a Game Master?

The Game Master is the person who your Escape Room adventure accompanies – from the moment of arrival until the finale.
He ensures that everything is running smoothly, you are having fun, and the room is working as it should.

The most important tasks of a Game Master

1. Welcome & Introduction – The start of the adventure

Before you even enter the room, the Game Master will explain everything important to you:
• What is allowed, and what isn't?
• What is decoration and what is a real puzzle?
• How does the notification system work?
• What's the story of your room?
This introduction is super important – because it lays the foundation for your success.

2. Storytelling & Atmosphere

A good Game Master tells not just facts down.
Are pulls you into the story, builds tension and ensures, that you feel like you're in a film.
Sometimes he's the caretaker, sometimes an investigator, sometimes the voice-over – depending on the room.

3. Monitoring & Game Management

While you play, The Game Master is watching you through cameras and microphones.
